{"id":21119,"date":"2021-08-03T15:02:05","date_gmt":"2021-08-03T13:02:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.envipark.com\/?post_type=progetti-p&#038;p=21119"},"modified":"2021-08-03T15:03:19","modified_gmt":"2021-08-03T13:03:19","slug":"eco-bati","status":"publish","type":"progetti-p","link":"https:\/\/www.envipark.com\/en\/progetti-p\/eco-bati\/","title":{"rendered":"ECO-BATI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.interreg-alcotra.eu\/fr\/decouvrir-alcotra\/les-projets-finances\/eco-bati\">ECO-BATI<\/a> was financed under the <strong>Interreg Programme Italy \u2013 France<\/strong> <strong>ALCOTRA 2014 \u2013 2020<\/strong>, which provides opportunities for territory promotion and cross-border knowledge sharing.<\/p>\n<p>The project partners include: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cn.camcom.it\/\">Cuneo Chamber of Commerce<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rivlig.camcom.gov.it\/\">Riviere di Liguria Chamber of Commerce<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/ccinice.org\/?lang=it\">Italian Chamber of Commerce in Niece<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmar-paca.fr\/\">Chambre de m\u00e9tiers et de l\u2019artisanat de r\u00e9gion Provence-Alpes-C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comune.boves.cn.it\/\">Municipality of Boves<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lamoro.it\/\">Lamoro Agency for the development of the territory<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/gipfipan.ac-nice.fr\/\">GIP FIPAN <\/a>and Environment Park.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> building industry holds great importance from an economic and environmental perspective<\/strong>, given that every year almost 50 million of waste are produced. As the economic and financial crisis unfolds, the building sector was not an exception to the sharp degrowth experienced by countries like <strong>Italy and France<\/strong>, highly active in the building sector.<\/p>\n<p>In such cross-border context, notwithstanding some encouraging signs of economic recovery, a reorganisation of the sector in terms of innovation and environmental sustainibility seems to be necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Project\u00a0<strong>ECO-BATI<\/strong>\u00a0was created with the aim of promoting<strong>\u00a0new green building models<\/strong>\u00a0and with a view to <strong>improve public buildings\u2019 energy performances<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In particular,\u00a0<strong>ECO-BATI<\/strong>\u00a0aims at achieving the following results:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strengthen cross-border local supply chains for the production of eco-materials that can be used in green building;<\/li>\n<li>An increase in the adoption of innovative public procurement procedures (<strong>Green Public Procurement<\/strong>) by the Italian and French Public Administrations, and of verification and measurement systems of public buildings energy performances;<\/li>\n<li>An increase in the number of <strong>Italian and French companies that use eco-materials<\/strong>and innovative materials from cross-border supply chains.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Four public buildings <\/strong>are<strong> pilot construction working sites<\/strong>, used for demonstration purposes in order to promote the uptake of <strong>eco-materials and as training, qualification and certification tools<\/strong> of the workforce\u2019s practical skills.<\/p>\n<p>The area of application comprises the <strong>provinces of Cuneo, Imperia and the Alpes Maritimes Department<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Our role<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Environment Park\u2019<\/strong>s technical assistance\u00a0was focused building products, by referring to the requirements set out in the Minimum Environmental Criteria relative to the building sector (D.M. 11 Ottobre 2017). Such criteria relate not only to the technical specifications of the building components, but also to those concerning the building as a whole. The choice of raw materials and of the relevant production technologies are indeed of outmost importance, if the aim is reducing the environmental impact\u00a0of the entire building process. In this regard, Environment Park has carried out analysis to assess the environmental impact of production processes (LCA \u2013 Life Cycle Assessment) and fostered the introduction of environmental product certifications aimed at promoting zero-kilometer products. As far as the Public Administration is concerned, Environment Park provided technical assistance to ensure the correct application of the Minimum Environmental Criteria relative to the building sector both in the design phase and during the elaboration of public tenders.<\/p>\n<p>Environment Park, supported by\u00a0 Regione Piemonte has drawn up the\u00a0<strong>Catalogue of environmentally certified building products<\/strong>, for the benefit of the private sector, public administration and project designers.
