{"id":21136,"date":"2021-08-03T15:32:12","date_gmt":"2021-08-03T13:32:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.envipark.com\/?post_type=progetti-p&#038;p=21136"},"modified":"2021-08-03T15:32:41","modified_gmt":"2021-08-03T13:32:41","slug":"hycare","status":"publish","type":"progetti-p","link":"https:\/\/www.envipark.com\/en\/progetti-p\/hycare\/","title":{"rendered":"HYCARE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HyCARE is a project funded by <strong>H2020<\/strong>, the European Union Framework Program for Research and Innovation, under the <strong>FCH JTI \u2013 Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking<\/strong>) <strong>\u2013<\/strong> the public-private partnership supporting research in fuel-cell and hydrogen technologies.<\/p>\n<p>The main objective of HyCARE is the development of a <strong>prototype hydrogen storage tank with use of a solid-state hydrogen carrier on large scale.<\/strong> The tank will be based on an innovative concept, <strong>linking hydrogen and heat storage, <\/strong>in order to <strong>improve energy efficiency and to reduce the footprint of the whole system.<\/strong> It will be <strong>connected to a 20 kW Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolyser<\/strong> as hydrogen provider and a <strong>10 kW PEM fuel cell<\/strong> as hydrogen user.\u00a0 The developed tank will be installed in the site of<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engie.com\/en\/innovation-transition-energetique\/centres-de-recherche\/crigen\">ENGIE LAB CRIGEN<\/a><\/strong>, which is a research and operational expertise center dedicated to gas, new energy sources and emerging technologies.<\/p>\n<p>By demonstrating an <strong>end-to-end solution for\u00a0low pressure\u00a0hydrogen storage<\/strong>, HyCARE contributes to <strong>reduce the investment and operating costs of renewable energy storage<\/strong>.
