The outcome\u00a0 was the development of The \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/renewable-energies.interreg-med.eu\/the-ecosystemic-transition-unit-etu\/\">Ecosystemic Transition Unit \u2013 ETU<\/a><strong>\u201d,\u00a0<\/strong>an alternative solution for <strong>energy transition with an ecosystemic approach<\/strong>, with the aim of promoting an effective integration of energy into territorial planning, and bring out <strong>new opportunities for local development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2019, a <strong>second phase <\/strong>has been launched with <strong>new objectives and activities to be carried out for the next three-year term.<\/strong> In the coming period, the project will mainly focus on the application of the ETU model on voluntary rural and island territories and the subsequent presentation of the results obtained, at national and European level. Numerous initiatives and opportunities dedicated to the municipalities of rural areas and islands will be organized in terms of training and technical support. Follow us!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.envipark.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/renewable-energy-manifesto.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13320\" src=\"https:\/\/www.envipark.com\/demo2021\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/renewable-energy-manifesto.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"342\" height=\"238\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>click to widen Energy Community manifesto)<\/p>\n<p>The project leader is the Scientific Research Center <a href=\"https:\/\/bistra.si\/\">Bistra Ptuj<\/a> (Slovenia), and together with Environment Park, responsible for the transfer activity, with <a href=\"https:\/\/euromed-economists.org\/the-euro-mediterranean-economists-association-emea-relocates-to-the-sant-pau-art-nouveau-site-in-barcelona\/\">EMEA<\/a> (Spain), responsible for capitalization and new partners, <a href=\"https:\/\/revolve.media\/\">REVOLVE<\/a> (Spain), REGEA (Croatia) and AEGEAN Energy Agency (Greece), will try to support the energy transition of rural and island territories for the next few years. To do this, the community can count on the involvement, in Italy, of the following bodies: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enea.it\/it\">ENEA<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uniroma1.it\/en\/pagina-strutturale\/home\">La Sapienza University<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ancim.it\/\">National Association of Municipalities of the Minor Islands (ANCIM)<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cluster-energia.it\/\">National Energy Cluster<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <u>Renewable Energy Community<\/u>\u2019 modular projects\u00a0are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/prismi.interreg-med.eu\/\">PRISMI<\/a>\u2013 Promoting RES integration for Smart Mediterranean Islands<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/compose.interreg-med.eu\/\">COMPOSE<\/a>\u2013 Rural communities engaged with positive energy<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/forbioenergy.interreg-med.eu\/\">ForBioEnergy<\/a>\u2013 Forest Bioenergy in Protected Areas of the Mediterranean<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/stores.interreg-med.eu\/\">Stores<\/a>\u2013 Promotion of higher penetration of distributed PV through storage for all.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/local4green.interreg-med.eu\/\">LOCAL4GREEN<\/a>\u2013 Local policies for green energy.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pegasus.interreg-med.eu\/\">PEGASUS<\/a>\u2013 Promotes effective generation and sustainable uses of electricity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Our role<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As part of the Renewable Energy Project, Environment Park will deal with the strategy of transferring the results of the modular projects of the community to the MED area territories and actors, the development and updating of the community <a href=\"https:\/\/rescommunitywebgis.envipark.com\/mapguide\/platform_environment_park\/platform_gis\/environment_park\/home.php\">WEBGIS<\/a> and the application of the \u201cEcosystemic Transition Unit \u2013 ETU \u201d in Italy.
