Landslides, slippages, and hydrogeological instability threaten biodiversity, the safety of populations, and the economic sustainability of mountain areas.<\/p>\n<p>In response to these issues, ARBOR proposes an <strong>innovative approach based on ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA),<\/strong> developing a cross-border model of <strong>sustainable management and circular bioeconomy for wood<\/strong>. The goal is twofold: to protect Alpine forests and, at the same time, to enhance their economic potential, promoting the use of local wood not only as fuel but also as a resource for construction, craftsmanship, and innovation.<\/p>\n<p>The project, active between the <strong>Gran Paradiso Valley in Italy and the Val Cenis\u2013Maurienne in France,<\/strong> includes research, training, experimentation, and awareness-raising activities aimed at students, professionals, businesses, and public administrations.
